It needs to be flawless. Achieving the
perfect skin finish is easier than it seems – just join me on this journey to
conceal wrinkles, pimples, dark circles and more. The following steps will
guide you on how to get that perfect skin finish.

Apply Primer

After you moisturize, spread on a light primer
with a beauty sponge, which has a filling effect. A foundation that is creamy
and moisturizing won’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles, but use it
sparingly – the more you use, the more pronounced lines will look. We like the
Tara Medium Coverage Foundation.

A hydrating primer is best used for dry skin
type.

Use a mattifying primer for oily skin.

Pick Foundation Wisely

Choose a liquid foundation and apply with a
beauty sponge. Avoid luminous or matte ones (they make the skin appear either too
moist or too flat too be natural) look for words like ‘lightweight’, ‘sheer’ or
‘invincible’. Some lightweight foundations won’t mask every flaw though. Tara
Medium coverage Foundation does the trick. For extra coverage, you can use with
a stick concealer. Try Tara stick concealer (Mrembo, Wuse, Daaku, Mma and Oge).

To find a foundation that matches your
complexion, test the color on your jawline to end up with a shade that’s right.
Tara Medium Coverage Foundation and Tara Full Coverage Matte Foundation have a
wide range of shades to choose from.

Find your shade

Dab on a little quantity of Foundation on your
forehead, one each on the tip and along the sides of your nose, and last on
your chin. Using a foundation brush or beauty sponge spread the foundation over
your forehead, across your cheeks, over your chin, and along the sides of your
face. Always blend down or sideways, never upwards to prevent the foundation
from creasing.

Apply Sparingly

Blend the liquid toward the perimeter of your
face. It will get sheerer as you move closer to your hairline and jaw,
preventing harsh lines.

Diffuse with a sponge

Tap a clean, damp makeup sponge around the nose,
over wrinkles and anywhere your base is noticeable to remove excess that could
crease or emphasize lines. The beauty blender’s pointed end gets around your
nose; its oval base perfect elsewhere.

With a fine-tipped brush, dab a
solid concealer over blemishes or dark spots that are still visible. Flawless
TS 11-17 comes with two shades you can blend.

Get rid of redness with a
yellow-based foundation. Smooth over any discoloration with your fingers or
sponge and then blur the edges with a beauty blender.

Hide under eye circles with a
creamy formula, such as Tara creamy concealer (TC01-07) tapping it on with your
ring finger or beauty blender

Hide Imperfections

Dip a large, fluffy brush in translucent powder.
(Flawless TS 11-17) Tap off excess and dust powder where you tend to get shiny.

The skin is the most important feature to get right when getting a face-beat done.
